Church Systems: Volunteers
I was on staff at a church where the church only cared for you if you were helping them. If you weren’t, then they pretty much wrote you off. What I learned the most during this time is we have to; 1. Make sure we get our volunteers in THEIR sweet spot as well as 2. Make sure we show them how much we appreciate them and do so often.
After 15 years of working with churches, I have worked with some of the largest churches in America as well as some of the smallest and everything in between. I have taken everything that I have learned, applied it in a multitude of churches to come up with a system that works for your church.
These systems are not designed to cause your church to go from 20 to 200 in 2 weeks but rather, building heath within your organization to sustain growth and put things into motion that will cause growth to occur.
