How Do You Dream Big?
At some point in your life you have dreamed of doing something. I remember when I was little, one day I wanted to be an optometrist. A friend of my parents owned his own clinic and I went and visited him and I thought the machines were so cool. I knew then and there, I wanted to be an eye doctor. Then a month later, I wanted to be a used car salesman. Through all of the different ideas I had, I knew I wanted to do something to help people become what they felt on their insides, they wanted to become but didn’t know how to get there. I wanted to be that doorway for them. I wanted to take them into a deeper relationship with God.
You may be thinking, there is something that I have wanted to do but I do not know how to get there. You are not alone. Personally, I feel that this is where most people are at today. They have a dream and it has died or maybe they have a dream but don’t have a clue how to bring it to fruition. If you want to see your dream fulfilled, there are three important aspects I want you to examine.
There are three crucial steps to dreaming big dreams.
- Learn how to cultivate the presence of God in your life.
- Dreams are birthed in God’s presence.
- At some point, you have to wake up and do something.
- Dreams must go from inspiration to participation.
- Don’t base your life on the seen but the unseen.
- Dreams are fulfilled when we walk by faith and not by sight.
I once heard John C. Maxwell say, “I can do nothing of eternal value without the help of the Holy Spirit.” If you want to dream big dreams, achieve big dream success and have a sense of fulfillment in your life, start today!
